Starting on April 30, employees at Big Creek Group gathered for an important and timely training — “Cybersecurity Basics,” a three-day course led by our IT Manager, Mr. Bardalez.

Each afternoon starting at 2 PM, new groups of staff took part in sessions designed to build awareness and understanding of the digital threats we all face. More than 25 team members participated, showing a strong commitment to keeping our systems and data secure.

The course introduced essential cybersecurity terms and helped attendees recognize threats like phishing emails and social engineering tactics. More importantly, it offered practical tips for protecting both personal and company information, from smart password practices to safe device usage.

Mr. Bardalez’s engaging approach and real-world examples made the sessions accessible and relevant, regardless of technical background. Whether you’re handling sensitive files or just checking your inbox, this training gave everyone the tools to make safer decisions online.
