This past weekend, Big Creek Group was happy to co-host the 2nd Annual ‘Pesca y Más con el Camaradas’ fishing tournament on our property in Blue Creek, alongside the event’s dedicated organizer, Abner Rubén Aparicio Miguel.
Originally from Mexico and now residing in San Felipe, Abner has played a key role in organizing and growing this exciting community event. His passion for fishing and community involvement has helped shape the tournament into a standout occasion for local families and fishing enthusiasts.
This year’s tournament once again brought together skilled anglers competing to catch the biggest Bay Snook—a powerful freshwater fish native to Central American rivers and lagoons, prized for its size and challenge to catch.
The event saw a fantastic turnout and created a family-friendly atmosphere, where people of all ages came to enjoy the day, cheer on participants, and connect with neighbors.
