On November 17th, the Big Creek Group family came together to embrace the rich tapestry of Belizean culture during our vibrant Culture Day celebration. The event highlighted the diverse and beautiful cultures that make up the mosaic of our beloved country, including East Indian, Mayan, Chinese, Mestizo, Creole, and the vibrant Garifuna culture.
As December 19th holds special significance in Belize as Garifuna Settlement Day, we took this opportunity to foster unity and understanding among our team. Laughter and joy echoed as staff mingled, engaged in a medley of entertaining games, and showcased their dance moves in a spirited contest, earning well-deserved prizes.
Our cultural journey continued with a delectable cultural lunch, where the aroma of traditional dishes like hudut, caldo, escabeche, and more filled the air. It was a culinary exploration, allowing everyone to savor the unique flavors that reflect the richness of our collective heritage.
