We’re thrilled to share that the Port of Big Creek proudly set up a booth at this year’s Maritime Educational Expo 2023, held on Friday, September 29th at the Belize Port Authority in Belize City.

Our mission was clear: to shine a spotlight on the incredible career opportunities within the maritime industry. From pilots and captains to stevedores, equipment operators, safety officers, seafarers, mechanics, landscapers, electricians, welders, and sandblasters – the maritime world offers a vast array of exciting and rewarding paths.

But here’s the catch – we want to inspire the next generation, especially our youth, to explore these careers. We’re putting a strong emphasis on education, encouraging everyone, including women who are underrepresented in the field, to dive into maritime opportunities.
