Department: Human Resources | Employment Type: Permanent | Location: Big Creek Group, Independence Village
The Big Creek Group is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and highly confidential individual to join our Human Resources Department as a Payroll Clerk.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Processing payroll and maintaining accurate payroll records
- Verifying timesheets and calculating wages, taxes, social security, and deductions
- Preparing pay slips, payroll reports, TD4s, and Social Security reports
- Posting salaries through electronic banking and preparing cash payments where necessary
- Managing payroll deductions and payments to third parties
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and assisting employees with payroll queries
- Assisting with monitoring the Biometric System
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Previous experience working in a payroll environment will be an asset
- Working knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Office
- Strong data entry, mathematical, and analytical skills
